On a technical front, what is the difference between a regular HD TV, and a 3D TV?

Does it just have a faster refresh rate, or is there more to it?

Hd just means high definition. its 2D but its very clear

now 3D TV’s are different, they project a credible illusion of 3 dimensionality, it looks as if the image comes out of the screen
( you know like when 3D movies where invented at an imax or the sort and they showed peoples reactions)

the newer ones (that don’t require glasses) even more so

in terms of offering the appearance of 3 dimensionality it between TV’s and holograms since its not actually 3D ..
