Also is there a disc format for 3d TV like there is Blueray for HD?

Its just a normal hd tv that has 3d built into it so if you had 3d cmpatible blu ray player and bought a 3d enabled movie say avatar then you can watch it in 3d, thats if you have got the 3d glasses as well.It will still do what standard hdtvs do as well.
