Question by christianrrf: Why can’t you watch the 3D effect in the TV’s that are 3D without glasses in a video?

If thoses 3D Tv’s doesn’t need you to wear glasses it should also be possible to watch the 3D effect through a video recorded.

I’m not sure what your asking, but the current 3DTVs do require you to wear special glasses to see the 3D effect.

Are you saying a 2D recording should be able to capture the 3D effect of a 3DTV? It doesn’t work that way. You need glasses to see the effect.

The nintendo 3ds doesn’t need glasses, and that same technology may come to 3DTVs, but it still has problems. You have to be at the exact correct position and angle to see the 3D effect. A 2D camera can’t get a clear 2D view of the 3ds screen because the screen is displaying two different images in different directions designed specially for human eyes. A camera lens doesn’t work because its only one perspective. You end up seeing both angles combined which makes it blurry.
