Question by Eric: My dad is blind in one eye, will he be able to watch a 3D movie in theaters or on a new 3D TV?

Just curious if he would ever be able to watch anything in 3D, like a movie on the IMAX or if he came over to my house to watch a movie on a 3D TV would the 3D googles work for him?

Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player

Question by Greg: Chuck your new flat screen HD ready TV in the bin because 3d TV is coming! Are they kidding?

After all the big companies advertised to the public to spend thousand of pounds upgrading to HD TVS, they are now expecting us to throw them in the bin to upgrade once again to 3D TVS!

Is anyone out there really willing to spend again on your home entertainment any time soon?

Best answer:

Answer by M M T
I don’t think so. Most of the 3D units look like hell anyhow. Now, I haven’t seen the Panasonic 3D plasma yet; I have heard that one rocks. But I’ve seen the LCD/LED units and the picture is awful even with the special glasses.

There is so little content available also. Why spend the money if you can’t watch 3D on it? There are only a few movies and those will get really old after you watch them about 3-4 times.

Sony BDP-S570 3D Blu-ray Disc Player Reviews

Question by Abandonment: Is it worth purchasing a 3D TV? What are the pros and cons?

I recently watched Avatar: The Last Airbender in 3D, and I was wondering if there were any differences between the 3D in theaters or on a 3D TV.

Best answer:

Answer by Grant M
3d tv’s are good my best option for you would be to go to curry’s or salfridges and you can use a 3d tv there, they are good yes, but them problem iwth them is you have to wear glasses to watch the tv and they dont come cheep the ones in currys cost around £100 and the tv;s are exspencive aswell you could get a 70″ tv for the price of a standard sized 3d one, but back to the glasses there something esle to lose aint break like the remote and you cant see the tv without them its all fuzzy and moveing around, but go to currys like i said and check it out and see what you think
