Yamaha HTR-5063BL 7.1 Channel 630 Watt AV Receiver (Each, Black)

Question by Demario M: How can a 3D tv be only 720p?

I was thinking about buying this tv (Samsung PN50C490) because it’s 3D and only $ 900 bucks but why is it only 720p. Should i get the Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 instead of this?

Thats just a native resolution just because its 3D dosent automatically mean 1080p and tgat panisonic if you look at the tv reviews from cnet says it cant handle 1080p 24/7 it loses blackness to. i would go with the next generation 3D tv because plasma have alot of problems and it can go to 1080p its native res is just 720 you have to reserch what the resoutions mean i have a 42 inch samsung 720 3D tv it goes to 1080p whenever the sources wants it
