Question by Greg: Chuck your new flat screen HD ready TV in the bin because 3d TV is coming! Are they kidding?

After all the big companies advertised to the public to spend thousand of pounds upgrading to HD TVS, they are now expecting us to throw them in the bin to upgrade once again to 3D TVS!

Is anyone out there really willing to spend again on your home entertainment any time soon?

I don’t think so. Most of the 3D units look like hell anyhow. Now, I haven’t seen the Panasonic 3D plasma yet; I have heard that one rocks. But I’ve seen the LCD/LED units and the picture is awful even with the special glasses.

There is so little content available also. Why spend the money if you can’t watch 3D on it? There are only a few movies and those will get really old after you watch them about 3-4 times.
